Here you have the perfect barbecue hut for kindergartens and others who want to gather larger groups in a unique atmosphere for all seasons. The size of 14.9m2 means that it is not necessary to apply for a building permit to set it up and at the same time there is seating for up to 20 adults at the same time. The hut is developed with the Scandinavian climate in mind and can withstand heavy loads from weather and wind.
Inside, the cabin is equipped with benches around seven of the walls. Above the door is a small storage room.
In the middle of the cabin is the grill, surrounded by 8 wooden plates. There are also flaps for these that you can fold out if you want more table space. The grill set includes a large adjustable grill grate and two round grates to cover all your cooking needs. Above the grill you will find the hexagonal hood in black painted steel. The angle of the chimney collar ensures effective ventilation of the smoke. You can easily raise or lower the hood as needed. There is also space for firewood under the grill.
The door of the barbecue hut is equipped with a cylinder lock and key set. In addition, the door has a hexagonal window. In the hut walls there are four windows with double insulating glass that retain the heat. Two of the windows can be opened / closed. If desired, the number of windows can be changed subject to additional charges.
Detailed information
Kindergartens: We supply to many kindergartens. Current HSE regulations require that the cabin is equipped with safety glass that will pulverize if it breaks. This costs an additional NOK 6,000.
General: Octagonal barbecue hut with a floor area of 14.9 square meters, built of late-grown Finnish timber. Delivered as finished elements with assembly instructions in Norwegian. Delivered untreated. Easily assembled by 2 people.
Roof: Black icopal is pre-applied to the roof elements as standard. Other colors are available on request.
Grill: The grill is located in the middle of the cabin and is made of steel with an adjustable grill grate and 8 tables around it. There is a separate room for firewood under the grill.
Chimney/hood: Adjustable telescopic hood with collar at a 45 degree angle for good smoke ventilation. The hood can be raised/lowered as needed.
Benches: Seven solid wood benches inside around the walls. Cushions for all benches can be purchased as accessories.
Door: 150cm high door with cylinder lock and double insulated glass. 5 keys for the lock included.
Windows: Four windows with double-glazed windows keep the heat in. Two of the windows can be opened/closed.
Floor: This barbecue hut now comes with a solid floor without grooves. The floor is of the same type as shown in the pictures above, but without gaps between the tables.
Foundation: The cabin should preferably be placed on a solid foundation. We recommend that 3-4 ventilation pipes are built into the foundation, running from the center of the cabin to different edges. This is to ensure drafts under the grill so that the smoke can easily find its way up into the smoke hood. Please contact us for tips and advice on foundation construction.
